Overview

Pin Drop (“the app”) is made by Chimera. Pin Drop helps salespeople build and publish simple websites for local businesses. This policy explains what data the app handles and why. The app has no accounts, no login, and no ads.

Data we collect

Location: with your permission, the app uses your device’s precise location to find the business you’re standing at. The business’s coordinates may be stored as part of the website you publish. Your personal movements are not tracked or stored.

Photos: photos you choose to add to a business website are uploaded and stored so the website can display them.

Purchases: subscriptions and drop packs are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases; RevenueCat receives an anonymous random identifier and your purchase history. We never see your name, Apple ID, or payment details.

Business information: names, descriptions, hours, and contact details you enter are stored and published as part of the website you create — that is the point of the app.

What we don’t collect

No contact information, no analytics or behavioral tracking, no advertising identifiers, no data sold or shared with data brokers. We do not use your data for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Visitor data on published sites

Websites created with Pin Drop record basic, anonymous visit counts (country, city, mobile/desktop) so business owners can see interest. Visitors who submit a contact form share the name, phone, email, and message they type, which is delivered to the business.

Data retention & deletion

App data (your drops balance and saved sites list) lives on your device; deleting the app deletes it. To remove a published website and its photos, or for any privacy request, email us and we’ll take it down.

Children

Pin Drop is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes we’ll update this page and the date above.
